Stories and patakíes
The suspicious landowner
There was a person who, while in bad health and bad circumstances, went to the country to look for work.
He got it on a farm, whose owner was very suspicious and always thought that his workers were stealing from him.
One night, the worker made Ebbó and buried it in the middle of the farm.
The owner, who was watching him, thought he was burying something he had stolen and had him arrested.
When it was discovered what the worker had buried, the owner had to make amends and compensate him.
Eyioko and iré
Eyioko was a friend of iré and they were always together.
One good day eyioko went to consult about one of his dreams and orunla told him to do Ebbó.
He did not obey because his friend iré advised him otherwise.
Until the day came when eyioko did not want to go around with iré anymore, claiming that he knew nothing at all and that his advice annoyed him.
That is how eyioko began to get arrogant because his friends regarded him as a wise man and, as a stubborn one in the end, he disobeyed all the advice since he felt safe.
Then iré went to orunla's house to complain so that he would advise eyioko.
So orunla did once again, but he never obeyed.
One day orunla sent him a message that said: eyioko, when you go along a road and someone calls you, do not go back by the same place, and he did not pay any attention to that either.
There they set a trap for him and only thanks to the Ibeyis was he able to escape.
