Iku hunted for Olofin

Iku once went hunting in the mountains of Olofin, but before leaving he made Ebbo, three days later he set out toward the lands of Olofin to hunt.

Upon arriving in the mountains of Olofin he saw an elephant and killed it, as he could not handle it he cut off its tail and went to Olofin's house to look for the people so that they could cut it into pieces and be able to eat of its meat.

When he arrived he told the people to take the necessary tools to cut and carry, the people did so and left with Iku toward where he had left the dead elephant.

The people carried machetes and cutting tools to butcher the animal.

When they arrived at the place where the animal was supposed to be, they did not find anything.

Iku, showing the tail to the people of Olofin's house, told them that he was not lying.

Elegua told Iku to go rest, that he was going to see Olofin so that he would decide what was to be done.

Olofin heard what elegua told him, then he sent the people to look for the elephant everywhere places, but the people returned with nothing.

Olofin, seeing this, decided to go consult, and they told him that the mountain as nobody took care of it had swallowed the elephant.

Olofin sent the people to bring eko to the mountain and Iku was among them.

When they reached its foot, they put down the eko and began to pray to it.

After a short time praying the mountain opened and let fall the elephant, which came rolling down to Iku's feet.

When the people returned with the parts of the elephant, Olofin called Iku and told him: from now on okuet will be your head and that is why Iku when he kills, kills with his stone axe.

It happened once that there was a young man who lived with his parents and despite there being several brothers, the father had adoration for the young man and he for his father.

The father had as his trade or way of making a living, a kind of blacksmith shop, where at the same time horses were shod, which enthused the young man so much that he learned the trade of shoeing horses.

As the time went by the young man became a man and decided to venture out, so he left his native town and went to a distant city.

When she found out, the woman friend did not oppose it, but she swore that their marriage it would be a failure, a disaster, since she considered herself mocked.

And so it was that when they went to celebrate the wedding, the problems began and the obstacles, which the man overcame miraculously, not without forgetting the oath of that woman.

When the man's wife became pregnant, in the first delivery there were no problems, but however in the second delivery, which was a female, the child was all the time in danger of death.

The man, when he saw so many adversities in his life, went to elegua's house, this told him what was happening and what he had to do so that things would be settled, and he also made him Ebbo with the tools with which he worked, the man did it and left very happy and satisfied since all those things had happened to him because he did not believe in the saints.
