When Shango started to play his tambourine
Story
Shango went to a land where there were many disgusts and especially with him.
Where Shango started to play his tambourine was sounding bata.
And when the people of the town were dancing very happily, lightning started to fall and they suffered a lot from them, with that Shango took control of that land, being the king of it.
Here it was born that mother's love is blind
In a kingdom, there lived abiodun who was a son of Shango and Oya, who was like a prophet, he knew that he had a lot of money and one day his father Shango, who was going to visit him, told him: son, you have a lot of envy above you, you have to go to the kingdom’s diviner and do Ebbo with all your money to cleanse you and have a little of everything bad that is coming to you on the road calm down.
But abiodun did not pay attention to Shango and one day his enemies set a trap for him and killed him.
When he died that land became disorganized and Oya when she saw her dead son she became furious, she took the sickle that her son had and started killing all the people in the kingdom, including the one who was guilty and the one who was not guilty.
All the people of that land began to live worried and hiding from Oya’s rage, then elegua, when he saw all that, that people were dying because of the great fury of his mother Oya, said to himself: I have to see the diviner, to see how we fix this situation.
When elegua got to where the diviner was, he told him: we have to look for Shango to see how we calm Oya, because she has let herself be carried away by her mother’s love and does not see her son’s mistake that his whim led him to ruin.
When elegua arrived he told him: to go to that land you have to cover the leri with asho of Yemaya, so that Shango does not go and kill us, then elegua set out on his way.
When he found Shango he told him everything that was happening, and he answered: my son died due to whims and not hearing me, and Oya has not wanted to recognize this, because she only thinks as a mother, I am going to solve that now and then he went out on the road with elegua to look for Oya, when they got to her house Shango told elegua, call your mother and elegua took a framb oyán pod and started calling her.
Then Oya broke down crying and understanding came to her and she said
I have acted harshly and have let myself be carried away by my mother’s love and have committed injustices.
Then elegua hugged Oya and told her: mother, we have to clean this land and for that we have to take all the owo that abiodun had and rub it with opolopo epo and have Shango take it to his land and thus misfortune will never again come to this kingdom.
Then Shango took all the owo, put opolopo epo on it and omi wrapped it and put it in his bag, under another one, then he put oñí on it and took it to his land, and from then on misfortune and curse never again came to that land.
