Oshun heals orunla

While he was healing, Oshun arrived and, seeing him, brought him some honey and an herb and cured him.

Then orunla fell in love with her and they set up house together and he introduced her to his mother.

In a short time he prospered and lived more comfortably because he only had to hunt for her and thus lost many enemies, but in the end Oshun left him for another.

The monkey that saved orunla

Orunla was a hunter who had the virtue that only Olofin ate what he hunted.

Once all the animals surrounded him in the forest to eat him, preparing a trap.

Under these conditions, orunla had no choice but to climb up on a pole or tree that had a hut where a monkey lived.

From there he saw all the traps that were prepared for him.

The monkey returned and found the hunter inside her house.

When the hunter saw the monkey he spoke to her because he already understood the language of these animals, because he already understood the language of these animals from the time he had been in the forest.

He told the monkey what was happening to him, and as the hunter was in good harmony with all the monkeys, because since no one ate monkeys he did not hunt them; the monkey agreed to help him on condition that later he would allow the monkeys to relate to the people of the town; since they lived far away in the forest.

When the monkeys came, everyone in the town was scared, they fled, but they chased and tied them up.

The hunter accepted the condition, then the monkey climbed down and looked for the skin of a dead monkey and put it on the hunter.

In this way, with the hunter on her back, she went jumping from tree to tree until they were able to get out of the forest.

And once free, the hunter, the monkey followed him so that the hunter would keep his word and take her to the town, and for this she would stay there, because the monkey had fallen in love with him and wanted to live with him and always the hunter was imprisoned in the forest.
