Stories and patakíes
Oshun's pumpkin
On this path Oshun, after having given birth to many children, realized that her womb was deforming.
Oshun was getting thin and crying; one day she went out onto the road to do rogation with different ewe.
The first rogation she did with a gourd and the gourd dried up and when it moved it sounded like a maraca and the noise disturbed her, then she looked for a pumpkin in a clearing and immediately rogoated the womb and at once her womb began to take shape until she felt well.
Shango y Oggun fought in equal conditions
Shango had been waging war with Oggun for a long time and every so often he crossed the river that divided their lands to attack Oggun in his domains.
So that Oggun could not attack him, he planted along the bank of the river hot ají that he had brought from a forbidden land.
On one occasion Oggun decided to attack Shango's land, but upon arriving at the river he felt that the plant that had been planted there was burning him and he fled to Eleggua's house.
Eleggua told him to give two Adie to Oshun so that she would wake up, because those plants were there because Oshun had fallen asleep.
And so Oggun did.
Upon receiving the two Adie, Oshun saw those plants at the bank of the river and with a flood of the river she moved them again toward the land from which Shango had brought them.
Since then Shango and Oggun fought in equal conditions.
