And he ordered them to do Ebbo so they would be freed from it.

The carabalí hutia returned to Shango's palace so that he would make her the Ebbo.

Ebbo.

In contrast, the conga hutia went no more to Shango's palace, so she did not he made Ebbo.

A few days later, while the conga hutia was eating the bark of a tree, she saw among the leaves eyo, who was stalking her to eat her.

She forgot what Shango had told her, that when she met eyo, while she was up on a tree, she should not throw herself off it, and for that same reason she threw herself from the tree and eyo caught her before she reached the he fell to the ground and ate it.

Days later, eyo found the carabalí hutia climbed up on a tree and waited for her to throw herself off it to catch her, but since she had done Ebbo and heeded the advice of the divination, she stayed curled up and watching on the palm.

Eyo threw himself toward the branch where the carabali hutia was to catch it, but he fell to the ground, bursting open.

Respect was born between Shango, Oya and Oggun

In this path Oyá was in a permanent war with Shango and in it she used a long and heavy machete, so she could not handle it very well, receiving for that reason Shango's mockery.

Oggun on his part also maintained a biter war with kabiosile, for which he used 9 small sabers that were insufficient against the impetuous attacks of Shango who, in addition to defeating him, mocked him.

Accidentally one day Oggun and Oya met, got to know each other and talked about their things, coming to the conclusion that their common enemy was Shango and, by going deeper into the details of the war that they both had with Shango, his mockery came to light and why they could not defeat him, then they decided to change their weapons and Oya gave Oggun her heavy machete and he gave Oya his new machetes (sabers).

They parted and after walking a little, Oya met Shango who attacked at once but Oya, however, unlike on other occasions, using her 9 sabers and with the speed of the wind, gave Shango such a beating that, surprised and horrified by the unexpected attack of Oya, he fled aimlessly, tripping in the flight over Oggun and, having recovered a little from the defeat against Oya, he decided to take it out on Oggun and attacked him without mercy, but he, brandishing his gigantic machete, not only defended himself with success but also put Shango to retreat, who, convinced of the strengthening of his enemies, made peace with them and from then on Shango, Oggun and Oyá respect each other.

Note

On this path 9 sabers are placed on Oya and a machete on Oggun as a symbol of peace between both and Shango.
