The Ceiba tree

When orumila had to do Ebbo with the leaves of the Ceiba tree, he sent all the Orishas to look for them and they could not climb the hill where the Ceiba tree was and they came back without them, then orumila said: I am going to bring them.

Orumila did osode and did Ebbo and then he left for the hill where the Ceiba tree was.

When he arrived at the hill he could not climb it because the sides were very steep and the Orishas said that Orunmila was a paluchero.

Orunmila took a hoe, a machete and went making circular cuts on the hill in an ascending way making steps until he reached the crown where the Ceiba grew; he took the leaves and returned with them and did the Ebbo with Akuko, eku, eya, hoe and machete to beat his opponents.

Then the Orishas greeted Orunmila.

Note: hasty climbing comes before grace.

He has many enemies because where you work or move about you have done things that others did not know how to do.

Oshun in this path lived with him and as she was the one who cooked the meats of the sacrificed animals, she got curious to see what her husband did with the food she cooked.

One day Oshun decided and went out to see what he was doing with the food, and at that moment he was singing the suyere giving account of what was being given, then orunla looked and saw asofuelu, who was his grandmother and was in the air, she said to him: go home because I have just deprived your wife of you, then orunla took 3 sheets and sang: feleya confele …".

Thus he managed to remove Iku from on top of Oshun.

Then he went to where Iku was to thank him for having moved aside and in this way he could remove death and save Oshun's life.
