Shango, seeing his omo's powers, one day called him and kneeled him down, taking some eweses that he had prepared, he put them in his mouth and gave him eyegbale of etu and told him, I am going to give you these powers so that in the life you will lead you will not be mistreated, because my son you will choose the wrong path.
Kamaralaife went out on the road arriving in a land where the one who ruled was azojuano and there everyone lived in peace and tranquility when he entered, the people did not even look at him, nor did they pay him any attention and then he began to sing: Oba sheni Shango kamaralaife wademu azojuano moforibale the people at the Orí that began to lament and look at him and they all gathered around him and he said:
I am Shango's son and I have come to see the king of these lands.
Then the people present there brought him before the presence of azojuano.
Where he, upon seeing him, said to him, I have been waiting for you, you were born with a great virtue which your father Shango gave you, and I support it but now we have to seek the way for them to mount a great secret on you that I authorize to give you because until you have them you will not be able to rule anything in this world.
Shango made ceremonies for your heart to become hard so that faith and the disillusionment of this religion do not reach your heart.
Azojuano completed the ceremonies for him and told him now go to those lands that with the power of the secret that Shango gave you and with my power you will overcome and I will warn you and I will alert you to all the bad things that come toward you, and when something breaks in those land and you see it, leave those lands urgently and do not return again.
Kamaralaife followed his path to the land that azojuano had told him about where, upon arriving, they received them with all honors for the powers that he had and that he brought with him, and that secret was part of a very great eggun that rules this sign.
In these lands he settled and there they made all the preparations to make Ifa for him, where at the time of the atefa he came with ofun kamaralaife and at that moment Shango and azojuano appeared.
Saying to the awoses present, you are going to treat him with hypocrisy and you will never consider him.
He will never be anyone in this land since here the young are not considered.
You will be the object of mockery and you will never receive the supreme power because they will never give it to you.
For being a son of azojuano and for the consecrations they made to you and the power of azojuano without having received it, you have not fallen ill nor will you lose your Ashe.
Take a silver real break the sign clean yourself and put it on your elegbara and later after four days you give it away, then go and worship the secret that azojuano gave you so that you may live.
Then all things began to break and azojuano said before Shango spoke.
To iban Eshu.
The monkey does not trust even its own tail
It was a town where the monkeys were believers and went to a place to worship their god, but there was a hunter who had them harassed and as they feared him they no longer went to their sacred place, until one of those iñagui (monkeys), said to the other monkeys: we are going to have to talk to the hunter.
When that monkey was going along the road looking for the hunter, the hunter who saw him was going to shoot him and the monkey said to him:
Don't shoot me, now that I want to talk to you, later you can kill me if you want.
The hunter answered him: you will tell me, then the iñagui proposed to him make a pact and said the following: we can no longer go to pray on thursdays, which is our sacred day, because you chase us to kill us, at least give us the opportunity to be able to go so that we can fulfill our religious tradition and therefore that day do not chase us or kill us.
The hunter agreed, but the distrustful monkey said to him: let's ask permission from Olofin to visit him, so that he will be the one to approve our pact.
Olofin received him and the iñaki explained to him what had been agreed with the hunter.
Olofin said to the hunter: in case you do not respect this pact that by mutual agreement they come to make before me, I will turn loose all the beasts of the forest behind you so that they destroy you.
Thus the iñaki began again to go to their sacred place on thursdays during seven uninterrupted months, but during the other days of the week, the hunter went out to hunt them and did not come across them so he was upset because he could no longer live off hunting the monkeys; then he said to himself:
Truly I am a fool, if today is thursday and I can catch them where they meet.
When the hunter arrived at that place he killed one of the monkeys and the others scattered and when the monkey who proposed the pact joined his brothers, he was very sad, another monkey asked him: why do you remain sad?, He answered, because I am guilty of my brother's death.
The other answered: but if we were able to live seven months in peace, look to see if we can live seven more years in peace.
Go see Olofin and tell him that the hunter broke the pact.
Olofin, informed of the problem, sent for the hunter and when he arrived he told him: may the beasts attack you when you go to hunt and may the iñagui that you manage to hunt you not be able to eat.
