The path of Oduduwa
In this path is where Oduduwa was secretary to Olofin, but he was very arrogant and every time they came looking for Olofin, he said he was not there.
Olofin had given all the powers to Oduduwa, but he went taking them away.
When he got furious, he took away a leg to be able to stop him.
Another day he took away an arm and so on until he was left with only the head, the eyes, the mouth, and the mustache.
Oduduwa was a rich man, who lacked nothing, but he was very discontented and lived very upset because of his imperfection.
Olofin sent Elegba to his house to ask him for the paolle and Oduduwa told Elegba that Olofin was always asking for things, that he was bothering too much, and that he was not going to give him anything.
Then Elegba told him that he was going to take the paolle.
At that moment Oduduwa started to roll around inside the house and gave Elegba a push that sent him out through the air.
Elegba got up from the ground all banged up and went to the house of Olofin and gave him the complaints about what had happened and about what Oduduwa said, and why he had not given him what he sent him to get.
Then Olofin told Elegba that the way he was, he was fine, because when he got upset he caused the wind and ended everything, so if he completed him, that is, if he gave him what he lacked, he would end and destroy the world.
Note
On this path you have to receive Oduduwa.
The pigeons
In this path the pigeons lived in the forest and suffered a lot.
Elegba pitied them and spoke with Olofin and he said: that he brought them to his palace where he would use them to send messages and in this way they would not suffer.
When they arrived at the palace the other animals began to be envious of them and to plot how to harm them.
Olofin, who was aware of all this, sent Orunmila to do osode for them and he saw ogbe bara, telling them to make Ebbo and they did it, then Olofin told them that because they were purity and cleanliness they would be in charge of carrying their messages.
Over time the pigeons became vanitous and believed themselves superior, they no longer wanted to do the work.
Then Olofin threw them out of the palace punishing them in that way.
They began to suffer again and regretful, they went to ask Olofin for forgiveness.
He forgave them, taking into account that they already had a stain where they lost their purity
Note
That is why for the head only the white pigeon is useful that has no stain at all.
There is also a head rogation with white pigeons which are used to ask for forgiveness.
