Stories and patakíes

The young hunter and the old one. The doubt of morality

There were two hunters who went into the forest.

Every time they wounded a animal they could never capture it, because they got lost in the thicket.

Thus they spent a long time, devoted to hunting elephants, when they managed to hit one with their weapons, it escaped through a mighty river, whose ford the animals knew.

The two hunters were left disoriented before the shifting sand of the river, they asked themselves: how is it possible that having them at hand they disappeared?

One of those days they again wounded an ayanaku (elephant) and followed its trail.

The ayanaku forded the river and was able to cross it through the firmest place of the sinking sand.

The hunters had ventured into the sandy area trying to follow the trail of the elephant; reaching it cost him a lot, for the terrain was high and they slipped in the mud.

Faced with such a difficult situation, the younger hunter said to the older one: I am going to climb on your backs to reach firm ground.

Then I will lift you up with a rope.

That is how he tried to do it, and while he was trying to climb, his virile member became aroused.

Excited, he threatened the older man with his spear, who preferred to lose honor before losing his life.

Some time later the younger hunter was accompanied by several maidens when he saw the older one.

One of the maidens asked him: why has that gentleman, who is your friend and hunting companion, not come to greet you, what problem is there between you two?

The younger hunter was silent; but such was the insistence of the maiden and the effect of the drinks, that he told of the homosexual relationship maintained between them in the forest.

The comment reached the old man's ears.

In the town people began to doubt his morality, and he had to move away to live elsewhere.

The violent sage

There was a sage whose character was very strong, and all the problems he had he usually solved with stabbing and cutting instruments.

One day the leading men of his town devised a way to destroy him, for this they sent a maiden to his house so that she could persuade him and ask him to allow her to spend the night there, since she had nowhere to stay.

The sage understood that it was a trap prepared by his enemies, to involve him in matters of justice.

But boldly he gave shelter to the stranger.

Very early the next day the sage's rayes arrived to demand an account from him, he told them: I do not know the young woman, she came and asked me for shelter and I gave it to her.

And the clarification turned into a brawl where the young woman died.

The sage was forced to answer for this act before justice.
